B.LEAGUE Chairman Mr. Masaaki Okawa announced today that the season 2019/2020 ended due to corona outbreak. The League made attempts to finish the regular season but the risk was too high and B.LEAGUE Board decided it is in the best interest of all the parties involved to oficially end the season.

It was also stated that there will be no Champion and no teams will be relegated to B2. Also, 2 teams with best score and B1 license will be promoted to B1. Next season B1 will consist of 20 Clubs next season.

B2 will consist of 16 teams next season.

Tokyo Excellence B2 license was canceled which gave a possibility for one team from B3 to get promoted to B2 next season. The name of the team that will be promoted will be announced at a later date. The Club that was highest ranked in B3 was Saga Ballooners.
